Beavs 27, USC 21

I just wanted my few readers out there and those who came here from Triz's post on CougarCrazies that a post on this game is coming in the next few hours.

Just a few things early, this was not a miracle, it was not the luckiest win ever. Please you save it (Duck fans, USC bandwagoners, etc). You are just showing your ignorance in regards to college football. I am not a pro like Triz and Adam who appeared on the radio this week, but I like to think I know a little bit.The Beavs have offically come out of the September Slumber. Watch out Utah, Thursday night.

More detailed post to come very soon.

You're right man, it wasn't a miracle and it wasn't lucky. The Beavs ran it right down USC's throat. That was what was most impressive--OSU didn't need tricks or gimmicks. They just needed to come out and play inspired football. And that they did.

Jacquizz Rodgers looked like a stick of dynamite, man. I'd love to see him do that crap again versus Utah.

I look forward to your post.

A true DUCK fan and a true college football fan and I will agree the Beavs dominated...the first half. The second was pretty much all SC. Just a classic too little too late. And congrats to the Beavs, just don't call this a great year already, you still dropped one to Stanford and were humiliated by Penn State.
Moevao...could possibly be the ugliest player around, well next to Oregon's punter. Also Lyle was got lucky in the endzone, that could have easily turned things around...missed opportunity by SC.
I can see Oregon State dropping games to Utah, Cal, Arizona State, Arizona, and Oregon...I don't think Oregon State will play that great every game.
And as far as starting out hot like the Ducks have in the past and the Beavers not and then flip flopping at the end of the year....why would you never want to give youselves the chance to be BCS contenders, I would rather win games and have a chance throughout the year to do something big, rather than climbing out of the toilet to have a "decent" season, which is all the beavs have done.
Plus, when you have time Ev, you need to check out an article about cupcake scheduling for the past 5-10 years or something. The Beavs are in the Top 10 for scheduling the easiest non-conference games...so a September Slumber...OUCH, against easy teams!!!

Gotta jet, but I don't wanna take anything away from the beavs win last night, they deserved it....but Moevao-UGLY, and not a good decision maker!

OSU will maybe win a total of 5 or 6 games this year! But most Beaver fans will still think its a good season cause they beat SC! And then they will complain about not getting a good bowl (if they get 6 wins).

Don't worry, this won't be my last post on here! Go Utes!
